Christy LeBlanc, RM
I have been registered midwife in Ontario for the last four years and I have decided to move back to Calgary where I will be joining Birth Partnership in the fall and reconnecting with my family.
I graduated from Ryerson Polytechnic University in 2003 with a bachelor of science in Midwifery. My first birth that I attended was in 1996 and I have been passionate about the practice ever since. On a personal level I love to travel and do so frequently. I have recently taken up surfing and have arranged five weeks in Spain this summer to learn Spanish and improve my surfing abilities.
I am blessed with two beautiful nieces Aliya 6 and Clarity 4.5 and two nephews David 18 and Gabriel 8 months. I love children and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to meet them when they are coming into the world. I am always amazed and empowered by the strength of women and do everything within my abilities to foster the best birth possible for women in my care. I look forward to practicing at Birth Partnership and look forward to fostering relationships with fellow Albertans.
